What would you pack in your beauty bag to take with you to a desert island? This is the question we asked Sima, the creator of The Curious Pixie. As a seasoned traveller, we were interested to see Sima's selection - fancy a peep inside their travel wash bag…?
As the founder and creator of the award-winning luxury travel and lifestyle website 'the Curious Pixie', Sima inspires her readers to escape the everyday by sharing a collection of destination guides to encourage families to pursue their travel dreams. With the focus on wellness and wellbeing, by incorporating 'me' time into any adventures, we only had one question on our mind to put to Sima...
What 5 items would you pack in your beauty bag to take to a desert island?
1. Skinceuticals Ultra Facial UV Defense SPF50 Sunscreen
You can’t be without sunscreen on a desert island and I’m always about maximum protection. SPF50 all the way! I love how Skinceuticals soaks into your skin without leaving a greasy residue.
2. Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant
Absolute classic and for good reason. Sorts out my chapped lips or any minor skin irritations I may have. Also, great to tame unruly eyebrows.
3. Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid
I’ve found the older I get the drier my skin. This helps me keep retain the moisture leaving my skin feeling smooth and fresh.
4. Invisibobble
I always want to tie my hair back and these are the best for not leaving kinks in your hair.
5. Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Treatment Intense Reset Concentrate and Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Concentrate Matrix
Slather it on before bedtime and wake up with smooth, glowing skin.
In addition to your 5 selected beauty items, which other luxury item would you take with you to the island?
A huge sack of potatoes. It may not sound luxury to most, but it would help feed my potato obsession whilst stranded.
